Judge Executive Search is currently seeking a Director of Truckload Operations for a large Third Party Logistics (3PL) company. This position will be responsible for day-to-day operations including fleet management, load planning and customer service for a Truckload (Not LTL) division.
MUST HAVE: 5 Years Truckload Operational management experience
MUST HAVE: Automotive Experience ie, Experience working in or servicing the automotive industry
MUST HAVE: Extensive driver (both Van and Flatbed) management and recruitment experience
MUST HAVE: Experience with TMW or comparable management software
Responsibilities:
Fleet management
Load planning
Customer service
P&L and annual budgets
Background Required:
5 Years Truckload Operational; Leadership
Client facing experience
Demonstrable cost saving ability
Fleet management and load planning
On board communication systems knowledge (people net)
Solid computer skills ie. MS Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Supervision of drivers and solid driver retention strategies
Demonstrated Process Improvements
Fuel Optimization TMW
TMW Dispatch and AS400 a plus
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
5 Years Truckload Operational management experience
Automotive Experience ie, Experience working in or servicing the automotive industry
Extensive driver (both Van and Flatbed) management and recruitment experience
Experience with TMW or comparable management software
College Graduate-BA or BS
Salary: $90,000-$140,000
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
