Your daily responsibilities include:
Maintaining communication between departments to include; trading information between shifts, assuring maintenance requests are communicated, absences, or any other information relevant to another shift
Responsible and accountable for the overall cleanliness and guest service internally and externally
Responsible for overseeing department and shift specific training for all department and zones
Responsible for ensuring keys, pans, brooms, and equipment are checked in and out accurately
Ensuring equipment is returned clean ready and holds staff accountable for such
Serving as a Facilities liaison in committee meetings and leading them when requested
Creating and posting weekly schedules, at least one week in advance
Managing overtime to ensure that it is scheduled, monitored, communicated and approved by the manager
Maintaining personal accountability ensuring performance reviews are completed and presented in a timely manner
Approving employee's payroll hours daily by each applicable shift
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
We are seeking candidates to fill several supervisory positions who have previous experience in Environmental Services (Janitorial), Plumbing, Electrical and Maintenance.
Associates degree from an accredited two-year college or university is preferred; however, not required
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
Must speak English fluently
Excellent oral communication skills
Proven guest service skills and experience
Computer literate
Proven leadership skills; a role model who leads by example
Two years supervisory experience in cleaning and/or janitorial services, plumbing, maintanence, etc
Must be able to stand and work in a noisy environment without restrictions for up to eight hours per day
Stand for long periods of time
Mobility requirements include: bending, pushing, pulling, overhead lifting, turning and reaching
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
