We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our real estate teamThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax strategy, compliance, and planning services for our real estate clientsThis role requires an individual who is passionate about the finance industry and has a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations related to real estateThis is a permanent position where you will have the opportunity to work with a team of professionals and make a significant contribution to our company's success.
Responsibilities:
1Oversee and manage the tax planning, compliance, and strategy for a diverse portfolio of real estate clients.
2Review and prepare complex federal and state income tax returns for real estate partnerships, corporations, and individuals.
3Utilize your expertise in WIP management, 1031 exchanges, 704b allocations, and partnership allocations to provide exceptional service to our clients.
4Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their tax needs are met and exceeded.
5Collaborate with a team of tax professionals to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
6Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring our clients remain compliant and informed.
7Provide tax advisory services, including strategic planning and structuring of transactions.
8Mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering a culture of learning and development within the team.
Qualifications:
1Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
3Minimum of 5
years of experience in tax management, with a focus on real estate clients.
4Proficient in WIP management, 1031 exchanges, 704b allocations, real estate, and partnerships allocations.
5Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations related to real estate.
6Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret tax laws and regulations.
7Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of mentoring junior staff.
8Superior client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
9Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts to a non-tax audience.
10Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
