This position is for flexible part-time hours with potential to expand to full time.
Experience in healthcare or a medical office is preferred but not mandatory.
Training will be provided for all required job tasks.
This role requires a variety of skills and responsibilities that fall into the categories listed below.

Job tasks may include:
Displays a professional manner and demeanor when greeting patients Communicates in an appropriate and timely manner with coworkers Demonstrates appropriate and professional communication skills Answers telephone promptly and courteously, refers calls to the appropriate person, takes and relays messages as needed Assists in scheduling therapists & securing coverage (patient appointments) Maintains medical records according to policy and procedure Maintains compliance with therapy documentation (chart audits) Makes up new patient charts for the office Maintains facility filing of paperwork Keeps computer data current for all patients Purges charts in appropriate manner and breaks down charts of non-current patients Performs word processing and Excel tasks as needed Demonstrates appropriate use of office equipment; maintains supplies Processing of clinical documents for physician signature Obtains paatient insurance verifications and authorizations Assists with insurance denials Follows appropriate chain of command Performs other duties as assigned Job Type:
