The primary purpose of this position is:
as an Air Reserve Technician, to support the aviation resource management specialist in managing flying operations resources.

Duties Assists in scheduling and dispatching aircrews, obtaining flight clearances, maintaining aircrew training records, compiling reports, and maintaining required publications for Flight Crew Information File (FCIF) and other required publications.
Inputs, updates, and retrieves aircrew data using Air Force ARMS at the squadron level.
Assists the aviation resource management specialist in assessment of aviation resource management program and planning activities through analysis of data and reports and the determination of special pay allocations.
Performs work supporting Status of Resources and Training Systems (SORTS) reporting and planning activities related to SORTS.
At fighters unit locations may be assigned the following tasks.
Accomplishes various weapons delivery assessment responsibilities.

SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes knowledge of the operations functions and polices as they relate to Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) and the operations of an aeromedical evacuation squadron.
OREDUCATION:
One full year of graduate level education.
Education demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the work of this position.
ORCOMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Less one year of specialized experience described above; however, more than one year of graduate level education which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position.
Therefore, a combination of experience and education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):

Knowledge of ARMS directives/instructions, policies, and procedures.
Knowledge of aircraft types and aircrew composition.
Knowledge of aircrew training requirements, aviation service eligibility, and aircrew rating and incentive pay requirements.
Analytical skills in order to interpret data or directives covering assigned area and to review records, identify errors, and determine and resolve problems.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
