What You'll Be Doing:
Formulates and implements Claims Reporting and Data Administration program policies to streamline administrative functions related to Claims Reporting and Data Administration program.
Serves as a liaison between Chief of Claims, Chief Operating Officer, Administrator and all Claims Services by coordinating, creating, monitoring and evaluating claims reporting and data between Claim Services Division and other divisions within the agency and other special projects, creating weekly and monthly reports and maintaining databases.
Independently researches and develops complex and/or sensitive reports and procedures, ensures data integrity, public records request and data trending for the Division related to assigned projects.
Acts as a liaison between Legal Services, Communications, Claims, Claims Policy and Support Employer Division, Public Records Requests.
Serves in project management role for Business Event Analysis and Modeling (BEAM) project for both internal and external customers.
Meets with Claims Services, Strategy and BEAM Team to review formulate and advise on data that is needed for new data model tables.
Serves as Claims Services liaison and Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services; manages Ohio Job Insurance (OJI) User Access and Permission project by maintaining a list of users, reviews and sends requests to OJI for refunds of overpayments by BWC to ODJFS using the OHI internal system.
Creates reports and builds Cognos/Tableau reports for the Claims Services, reviews, designs and coordinates Cognos and Tableau reports with BWC IT/Strategy for reports that need to be created, repaired and/or updated for Division; implements report to provide consistent data based on findings from the repository; designs, maintains and serves as one of the divisional site owners for SharePoint site, intranet, and ohio.

Provides technical expertise in designing and modifying electronic tools to both Claims Services staff and other BWC internal customers.
Authorizes payment for preauthorized injured worker out of state travel expenses, uses procurement card system system in Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS); receives request to pay for prepaid travel; reviews the request to ensure costs are within policy and procedures and submits for approval.

Qualifications To Qualify, You Must Demonstrate:
Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management science or public administration AND 2 years training or 2 years experience in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
OR completion of undergraduate core program in academic field commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on file AND 2 years training or 2 years experience in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
OR 4 years training or 4 years experience in business administration management science or public administration.
OR 1 year experience as Program Administrator 1, 63122.
OR equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above Recommended Skills Administration Business Administration Claim Processing Communication Data Modeling Databases Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
