6K a year Polaris Windows & Doors is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Department at our Austintown, OH plant.
This position will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, driven to succeed, dependable, and reliable.
Job Responsibilities The position will be responsible for essential job duties including, but not limited to:
Providing support for all plant machinery; Performing daily assignments requiring mechanical and electrical skills in a timely manner; Performing preventative maintenance as directed Completing periodic inspections of production equipment in effort to identify sources of potential defects; and Responding rapidly when an equipment breakdown occurs.
Requirements 2-year technical degree or skill trades training preferred; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in a team environment and independently; Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including hydraulic and pneumatic repair; Knowledge of PLC's, electronics, and wiring schematics; Basic computer skills; and Strong written and verbal communication skills.
