Summary:
Accurately processes securities in and out of trust accounts in a timely manner; correctly post asset income and other information into the Trust Accounting system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
Transmit equity and mutual fund trades via upload from Trade software system to the Trust Accounting system Process all bond, equity, and mutual fund trades Notify Investment Officer of any trade issues that require their assistance, i.
e.
cusip # not the same as confirm, commission incorrect, incorrect broker code, etc.
Coordinate with Investment officer as needed Reconcile any asset discrepancies on the daily position exception reports for custody assets and any asset discrepancies found during the audit of physical securities Post dividend and capital gain payments for all mutual funds Post interest payments for all certificates of deposit held vault Process settlement figures for custody vendor Set up all asset information on the Trust Accounting system, may require research.
Post all adjustments to cost basis for trust accounts Update prices of miscellaneous and unique assets per Administrative or Investment Officers' instructions Post internal transfer of assets as directed and other adjusting transaction batches Set up and process option trades as directed by the Investment/Portfolio manager Resolve any operational problems regarding securities per operational guidelines Serve as the back-up to Middle Office desk position Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures.
Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position EDUCATION and/or

, 4 year degree preferred.
Solid understanding of general accounting principles Minimum 3 years' experience in trust operations or brokerage back-office.
Advanced Excel skill required Self-motivated, ability to work independently and research as needed.
