Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. GS-0203-05 SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-04. Examples Include:
Having knowledge of and skill in applying standardized body of HR rules, procedures and operations to perform full range of military customer support assignments; prepare HR documents with complicated formatting; extract, revise, and/or sort information from files, records and/or databases. OR Education:
4 years above high school OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements at grades GS-5 and below, as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. GS-0203-06 SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-05, Examples Include:
Having Practical knowledge of an extensive body of HR rules, procedures or operations requiring extended training and experience to perform a wide variety of interrelated or nonstandard HR support work; plan, coordinate, develop facts and resolve support problems. OR Education:
As a general rule, education is not creditable above GS-5 for most positions covered by this standard; however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position. GS-0203-07 SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-06, Examples Include:
Must possess knowledge of military personnel policies, procedures, rules, guidelines, publications, etc. regarding maintenance of records, casualty assistance, and entitlement determinations (active duty and reserve). Must have sufficient knowledge of the automated systems to extract data from these systems. OR Education:
As a general rule, education is not creditable above GS-5 for most positions covered by this standard; however, graduate education may be credited in those few instances where the graduate education is directly related to the work of the position. FEDERALTIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS:
Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in -grade requirements to be considered eligible. For example, one year at the GS-06 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of military personnel policies, procedures, rules, guidelines, and publications. 2. Knowledge of the unit mission. 3. Comprehensive knowledge of automated systems. personal computers, and software. 4. Ability to analyze data products. 5. Good knowledge and control of the English language. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals, both orally and in writing. 6. Knowledge of Installation Personnel Readiness programs. OTHER SIGNIFICANT FACTS:
1. Performs other related duties as assigned. 2. This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. The incumbent is required to meet and maintain Air Force Reserve requirements. Work schedule will be aligned to allow incumbent to fully participate in unit training assemblies (UT A). The incumbent's regular assignments are ART duties:
however, tl1e incumbent may be assigned some non -ART duties, generally not to exceed 30 percent of total responsibilities. 3. May be required to fly in commercial and military aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments. 4. Must obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance. 5. The incumbent serves in an entry level developmental capacity. Incumbent participates in formal and on-the-job training designed to prepare the incumbent for advancement to the intermediate level of GS-06 and ultimately to target level of GS-07. 6. This position may also be filled at the GS-05, GS-06 or GS-07 grade level. This position may be filled at the Fully Qualified GS-07level based on the qualification of the candidate. Experience:
Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service. Individuals selected for ART positions must meet both civilian qualifications and uniformed military requirements. Experience:
Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are eligible for 15 days active duty tour each year for which military leave is granted with full civilian pay. Air Reserve units and members; are subject to immediate call to active duty in mobilization to meet a national emergency. Retired military that have active AF Reserve assignments may apply provided they show assignment (position) on the application. A military service member's statement of service/certification will be accepted IF a terminal leave form or DD214 cannot be provided. It must be signed by, or by direction of, the adjutant, personnel officer, or commander of your unit or higher headquarters and must indicate when your terminal leave will begin, your rank, dates of active duty service, the type of discharge and character of service (i.e. honorable). Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
