98 a year Duties - Oversee and manage the fabrication department, ensuring efficient and timely production - Develop relationships with existing clients and prospects -Bid jobs, track all costs and labor, invoice completed jobs, manager overall profitabiity of shop - Coordinate and schedule daily tasks for fabrication team members - Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and supplies - Collaborate with customers' engineering and design teams to ensure accurate interpretation of blueprints and specifications - Oversee operations and maintenance of fabrication equipment, including welding machines, press brake machines, and power tools - Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and standards - Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the fabrication process - Train and mentor fabrication team members on proper techniques and procedures - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment Qualifications - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes - Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation - Experience working with sheet metal and machining processes - Familiarity with a variety of power tools used in fabrication - Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimation - Ability to build, assemble, and fabricate components according to specifications Note:
